Hostwinds is extremely overrated esp. for cloud servers

I decided to give them a try after lots of good reviews on the software review sites about quality and customer support.
Well here’s my experience:
– randomly shut off my sites based on erroneous auto-generated “abuse” reports from bots
– I had to ask them multiple times to turn my sites back on
– horrible billing options must prepaid everything
– UI is not bad but feels like a basic template they customizedKimberlyGuestThe entire point of cloud servers is that you can spin up anytime you want but it’s bullshit on Hostwinds, you have to pay the entire month for every server that you provision so its pretty stupid
AnthonyGuestI think most of their customers are shared hosting customers and agencies, so they probably treat cloud server users the same…. if you’re into cloud servers exclusively probably better to find other providers who are solely focused on cloud infra and billing.
