Will this template file be applied to /blog/ articles listings? or just for date-based archives like /2025/ or whatever.

archive.php is pretty much the same thing as index.php but for some special case that you don’t want your category/tag/etc archives to look exactly the same as your blog post feed… you don’t need to use it if you don’t want
